$45.00

Instructor: Nicole Havekost
Format: In Person, 2-hour workshop
Date(s): March 27, 2026
Day/Time: Friday, 6 pm – 8:00 pm Central Standard Time

Do you want to learn to make a shark-faced, smiling, hooved, four-legged friend that can join you for coffee? Or maybe a two-headed, goose-necked opossum that has a hankering for dark chocolate? Make your own one-of-a-kind, fantastic, never-before-seen stuffed creature known as a “Frankenstuffie” by taking apart and re-configuring a variety of stuffed animal parts with simple hand-sewing techniques. Be inspired by existing stuffies to imagine a soft monster of your own!

The workshop is fun for all ages and a great family activity. No experience necessary. Each participant will leave with a Frankenstuffie of their own. Participants under age 12 should have a parent present. Bring your imagination and be ready to play!

What to bring: if you have a stuffed animal you would like to repurpose, please bring it.

Materials provided: Each participant will be provided with two stuffed animals. Scissors, an exacto-knife, a needle, and thread.
