Between the Work: Artist Conversations on Living and Making
Instructor: Dee Clements
Format: ONLINE via Zoom
Date(s): October 1, 8, 15, 22
Day/Time: Wednesdays 6pm-8pm Central Standard Time
Between the Work is a one-hour online gathering designed to hold space for artists to speak openly about their lives and creative practices. It’s not a critique. It’s not a panel. It’s a conversation circle and discussion group. In this facilitated space, we center presence, honesty, and mutual listening. Each session invites artists to reflect on the inner terrain of making: What’s alive in your practice? What’s falling apart? What do you wish someone would ask you right now? Whether you’re feeling blocked, prolific, isolated, or just tired—this hour is for you. Together, we will discuss and commiserate from the studio and our lives in this current moment. Speak from process, not product, and from truth, not performance.
